How do I set a target price?
The target price tells ExploreDrop when to alert you. You get an alert when the rate is at or below your target.
What the target means
The target is the base rate for one night.
It is before taxes, resort fees and service charges.
It is in the hotel's own currency. ExploreDrop does not convert currencies.
The suggested target
ExploreDrop fills in a suggested target. It is 1.1 times the lowest MMP rate we have ever seen for that hotel, rounded.
The suggestion updates when we see a new record low.
If you set your own target, ExploreDrop never overwrites it.
How to pick a number
- Start with the suggested target. It is close to the lowest rate we have seen.
- A lower target gives you fewer alerts. A higher target gives you more alerts.
- Look at the price history of your monitor to see how the rate moves.
Change your target later
You can change the target on a monitor at any time.
